This isn’t just any museum experience—La Nube, Spanish for ‘the cloud,’ is a cutting-edge STEAM discovery center where guests of all ages can explore, play, create, and push the boundaries of innovation. La Nube is where your imagination can soar as high as the clouds.
Located in the vibrant heart of Downtown El Paso, Texas. La Nube is a unique hybrid institution, merging the educational aspects of a science center and children’s museum experiences. Through STEAM-focused exhibits and immersive programs, we spark curiosity and inspire imagination in learners of all ages and abilities. La Nube is a space where imagination takes shape.

As a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, La Nube is committed to accessible and educational programming to El Paso-area children, with a goal of serving 20,000 kids from Title I schools annually. At 70,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, La Nube opened in 2025, inspiring guest of all abilities and ages the opportunity to cultivate their curiosity and discover the power of play.
With the passage of the City of El Paso’s quality of life bond in 2012, which included funding for a children’s museum, the idea for La Nube began to form. La Nube is a private-public partnership of El Paso Community Foundation, the City of El Paso and other community stakeholders. Through community involvement and investment, the vision for the project evolved into a bilingual, immersive, and interactive learning center for families and people of all ages.
