Description:
KCCR (1540 AM) is a student radio station operated by El Paso Community College students. It broadcasts during the week to the Valle Verde Campus. KCCR on air talent consists of thirty-two average volunteer student volunteers with an interest in radio. Students are also recruited from the college’s Mass Communications Department. The music format is alternative with special programs in Modern Rock, Mexican, and Rhythm and Blues. The music format changes according to the needs of the college listening audience.
