When you’re looking to enjoy a delicious craft beer, El Paso’s brewery scene has unlimited options to quench your thirst. Craft breweries are leading their way in the Sun City. As causal, cool places to catch up with friends, host events, and sip a chilled refreshment, these four breweries in El Paso are paving their way to becoming renowned spots for families, friends, and more to gather and enjoy a beverage or two.
Old Sheepdog Brewery
Nestled in Central El Paso, just walking distance from Lincoln Park, Old Sheepdog Brewery invites guests to “experience the flavors of the frontera.” Formerly an industrial warehouse built in the 1930s, Old Sheepdog is known today for serving some of the best beer in the Sun City and takes pride in creating beverages that are unique to El Paso.
Deadbeach Brewery
With nearly a decade since opening its doors, DeadBeach is the longest running craft brewery in El Paso. Owners Gabriel Montoya, Jason Hunt, and Justin Ordonez spearheaded their brewery into a foundation for creating bold flavors, creative craft beers, and sharing a strong community presence. Try their staple beers including the southwest amber lager “DeadBeach Lager,” the India pale ale “DeadBeach IPA,” or their German-style hefeweizen “Chihuahefe.”
Aurellia’s Bottle Shop & Brewhouse
Operating as a brewhouse, bottle shop, and restaurant all in one, Aurellia’s is a West El Paso hotspot. Aurellia’s takes pride in brewing with “responsible energy consumption, mathematical precision, and artistic expression.” With an expansive beer, wine, and food menu, this premier brewhouse and scratch kitchen is one you won’t want to miss.
Three Missions Brewery
Three Missions Brewery in Socorro, Texas crafts bold, flavorful beers inspired by the city's rich history and culture. Located along the historic Mission Trail, Three Missions is best known for their staple brews, the Ysleta Stout, the Socorro Blonde, the Commanche Lager, and several others.
As a variety brewery with a special automated, mechanical (rather than gas) process, they never have the same craft beer twice. Ever. They’re all about trying new flavors of craft beer and emphasize how they want to make connections to their patrons through quality over anything else. With a full menu of creative dishes and a bottle shop on site, it’s a one-stop shop.
