El Paso Newly Named as a Top City to Tie the Knot

Preparing for a wedding is more than choosing a dress and a flavor for the wedding cake. Budgets, logistics, and planning are each crucial steps to keep in mind to make any wedding night the most memorable it can be. In a new study released by personal finance outlet, WalletHub.com, the City of El Paso was named as the 8th best place in the United States to get married!

The study compared over 180 cities nationwide ranking the best destinations to host a wedding in. The top destinations were selected on key indicators including costs, facilities and services, activities and attractions, and more.

In addition to El Paso’s overall 8th place title, the city was also ranked as the 11th most cost-friendly city. Cost considerations included the average wedding cost, price of a three-star hotel, restaurant-meal costs, and prevalence of affordable wedding logistics.

“El Paso’s excellent affordability, convenience, and beauty rightfully ranks the city as a top destination for hosting a wedding. Earning a top 10 spot establishes El Paso as a destination for nuptials on a nationwide level,” said Jose Garcia, President and CEO of Destination El Paso.
