Ladies let’s explore the western foothills of the Franklin Mountains!
This is a moderate 1.3 mile hike that follows a low ridgeline west of the Tom Mays Park Access Rd.
Meeting Location: Picnic sites 1-5; first left turn after the park’s visitor center.
We will meet at the southern end of the trail, carpool to the northern end, and hike along the ridge back towards the vehicles. Keep an eye our for fossils along the way, but remember to leave what you find.

Optional: binoculars, hiking stick, camera, and a map.
Fee:
$5.00 per adult 13 years of age and older, $0.00 for Texas State Park Pass holders and children between the ages of 5 and 12.
