Come enjoy a evening at White Sands with us. Family friendly and Pet friendly. Please always keep pets on a leash.
We will have a potluck picnic for those who are interested.

If you want to participate in food, please bring something that is a finger food to share.
Bring a blanket, chair or something to sit on.

Bring sleds if you have them. I have 2 that I will bring to share.
Bring outside games if you want to play.

Hike will start at 7pm - expect long lines because this is a late open night for White Sands.
All activities optional, stay and play, or come on a small hike in-between.
There’s plenty of space for social distancing, so there is no limit on attendees.
We will hike, sled, chill, picnic and walk around the dunes. This hike will be very short like two miles with a lot of scenery and photo opportunities.

We will meet in the Alkali Flats trailhead area. We will have a WE HIKE table set up.
If anyone wants to join and caravan, details will be posted on our website.

DETAIL HIGHLIGHTS Hike Distance: 1 -2 miles Route Type: out and back, in sand the entire way. Fee: National Passes – free, per vehicle - $35 per motorized vehicle Items needed:

• Water,
• 3 liters minimum.
• Sunscreen is a good hat for protection from the sun as there is no shade on the trail.
• Snacks are always good to have.
• Bring any medications you may personally need.

Note:
Participants should be in good physical condition to attend this outing. Please do not come if you are sick or around people who have been sick.

THERE ARE NO SERVICES at WHITE SANDS - bring water food and anything you need for the evening. 10 essentials, a light is in there too. Look at the weather, its always an amazing time at White Sands no matter the weather just be prepared,
