The 1AD Band is joined by musicians from the El Paso Winds to perform a very special band concert entitled “We the People: A Musical Tribute to the Constitution of the United States, in Honor of America 250” at the outdoor grass amphitheater, in front of The Grand movie theater at Fort Bliss’s “Freedom Crossing”. This concert will honor the signing of the US Constitution on September 17, 1787, and highlight the strength and unity of our great country! The concert will feature musical performances highlighting eras of American music, the service of our military, and a special performance of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” with real cannon fire from the 1st Armored Division Salute Battery to finish the show!

Come early to the event that starts at 4:00pm, with food trucks, bouncy houses, craft tents, chalk competitions, prizes, and more! Enjoy the festivities, walk around Fort Bliss’s one-of-a-kind “Freedom Crossing” destination, and then BRING LAWN CHAIRS or BLANKETS to enjoy an evening concert on the lawn by the 1st Armored Division Band and El Paso Winds!
