This is an ongoing exhibition from Jan 24 - March 31 at the UTEP Centennial Museum. When visiting UTEP, make sure to mention you want to see the exhibit.
From 1941 to 1945, Lea traveled over 100,000 miles across four theaters of war, capturing the intense and personal experiences of U.S. and Allied troops with breathtaking depictions. Experience thirty-six framed prints depicting scenes of World War II that Lea captured while working as LIFE magazine’s first Accredited War Artist-Correspondent. Lea’s illustrations—drawn from the frontlines of four major theaters of war—capture the enduring strength of the human spirit. Through this unique collaboration, we honor those who have served throughout history.
Don’t miss the chance to see the story of WWII through the eyes of one of history’s most talented artists.
