THE EXCHANGE JAZZ AROUND TOWN – 2026 MUSIC SERIES The Jazz Exchange is proud to continue bringing live jazz to El Paso in 2026 through our Jazz Around Town Music Series. In partnership with local venues and businesses, this series supports local and regional artists, strengthens El Paso’s creative culture, and creates intentional spaces for community connection through music.

This series features weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly listening-focused performances across the city—welcoming longtime jazz enthusiasts and first-time listeners alike. Select nights include open jam sessions, encouraging musicians to participate and engage with the community.

MOUNTAIN STAR BREWERY First & Third Saturday of the Month | 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM Experience live jazz every first and third Saturday at Mountain Star Brewery, a locally owned business on El Paso’s Eastside. This all-ages event invites guests to enjoy thoughtfully curated jazz performances, take part in community jam sessions, and spend an evening immersed in live music and connection. Mountain Star Brewery offers a selection of house-brewed craft beer, along with wine and non-alcoholic beverages. A food truck is on-site, serving up delicious options to enjoy during the show.

Seasonal Seating: During the winter months, performances will take place indoors with limited seating available. Once the weather warms, events will move outdoors to the patio area with more seating, offering expanded seating and a more open atmosphere.

To help accommodate limited seating, parties of one may be seated with other guests.

What to Expect Jazz Around Town is a jazz show, not background or ambient music. These performances are presented for guests who come to listen, engage, and enjoy the music.

Each evening is typically presented in two sets:

First Set: A featured house band performs a prepared program for guests. Second Set: An open jam session, welcoming musicians from the community to participate.

We kindly ask guests to keep conversation to a minimum while the band is performing. The musicians prepare their music with intention, and your attention helps create a respectful and rewarding experience for everyone in the room.

Admission & Seating Information Admission: Free. RSVPs are recommended to secure preferred seating and are managed exclusively through The Jazz Exchange (not through the venue). Reservations are held for the first 20 minutes of the event start time. If your party has not arrived within that window, seating will be released to walk-in guests.

Seating & Age Policy:

Parties of one may be seated at the bar or with other guests to accommodate all attendees.

Walk-ins are welcome. Preferred seating for walk-ins cannot be guaranteed until after the RSVP hold period has passed.

All Ages are welcome. Bar seating is 21+ only.
