THE JAZZ EXCHANGE: JAZZ ACADEMY PROGRAM 2025-26 - EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION August 1st - 25th

The Jazz Exchange Academy, created by The Jazz Exchange, is a program designed to transform young musicians aged 11-18. We aim to empower and educate them through music education classes, including improvisation, music theory, small ensemble, and big band. Jazz is the ultimate platform for young individuals to transform into community leaders and global citizens. It empowers them to discover their distinctive voice both on and off the stage, even after they leave The Jazz Exchange Academy. Through partnerships with community mentors and alumni, our program enables the next generation to establish valuable connections, seize opportunities, and thrive in the arts and other diverse fields beyond just performing music on stage.

Jazz Academy Details

Year-Round Schedule: October 20, 2025 - MAY 21, 2026

Fall 2025 Open Enrollment: August 1st -October 12th

Spring Open Enrollment: November 23rd - January 17th

Audition & Registration Deadline: January 17, 2026

Days: Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays (6:00 PM & 7:30 PM)

Location: Sanchez Studios

Age Range: 11-18 yrs (1 year of band experience or private lessons)​

Winter Concert - February 7, 2026

Spring Concert - May 23, 2026

Combos will be able to perform in more of our community and special events throughout the calendar year. Big Bands will be invited to special events throughout the year.

Tuition Year-Round (October 20th - May 21st) $1500 -Combo Class (Full Year)

$1500 - Big Band (Full Year)

$2000 - Combo + Big Band (Full Year)

Tuition Fall Semester (October 20th - February 9th)

$850 - Combo (Fall Semester)

$850 - Big Band (Fall Semester)

Tuition Spring Semester (February 13th - MAY 21st)

$850 - Combo (Spring Semester)

$850 - Big Band (Spring Semester)

All options require the following to register:

$100 deposit for Combo or Big Band (to be applied to the registrant’s tuition upon placement)

$200 deposit for Combo + Big Band Classes (Bundle)

$75 Registration Fee (to be applied towards tuition fee)

Please note that you will only be required to pay $175 or $200 upfront to register, with the remainder available in payment plans or paid in full.

The deposit will confirm students’ participation. Students will attend the designated time of the class, and details and a welcome packet will be sent via email, and a hard copy will be given on the first day of classes.
