THE JAZZ EXCHANGE ACADEMY PROGRAM
The Jazz Exchange Academy Program is designed for musicians of all levels who are passionate about improving their craft. Whether you’re a seasoned player or an aspiring musician, this program offers the perfect environment to grow your skills. It’s ideal for those with a desire to learn and collaborate, working alongside fellow jazz enthusiasts to perform in ensembles and connect with the local community. If you’re ready to take your musicianship to the next level and be part of a vibrant, supportive group, this program is for you.

JAZZ ACADEMY DETAILS:
Year-Round Schedule: October 14, 2024 - June 1, 2025
2024-25 Open Enrollment: August 14th -October 11th
Days: Monday & Thursdays (6:00 PM & 7:30 PM)
Combo Classes Begin: Monday, October 14th
Big Band Classes Begin: Thursday, October 17th
Audition Deadline: Friday, October 4th

Age Range: 11-18 yrs (1 year of band experience)

Combos will be able to perform in more of our community and special events throughout the calendar year. Big Bands will be invited to special events throughout the year. More dates are coming soon!
Tuition Year-Round (October - June) $850 -Combo Class (Full Year) $850 - Big Band (Full Year) $1600 - Combo + Big Band (Full Year)
Tuition Fall Semester (October - February) $650 - Combo (Fall Semester) $650 - Big Band (Fall Semester) $1400 - Combo + Big Band (Fall Semester)
All options require: $100 deposit for Combo or Big Band (to be applied to the registrant’s tuition upon placement) $200 deposit for Combo + Big Band Classes (Bundle) $50 Registration Fee (to be applied towards tuition fee)
*Nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit and Registration Fee.
The deposit will confirm students’ participation. Students will attend the designated time of the class and details and a welcome packet will be sent via email and a hardcopy will be given on the first day of classes.
AUDITIONS REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS FOR PLACEMENT - Deadline: October 4, 2024
To maintain the high standards of our program and ensure proper placement, we require a 6-7 minute audition video from all new and returning students. Please submit your audition by October 4, 2024. Once the audition video is submitted, you will receive an email confirming your child’s placement and class assignment for the 2024-2025 year. Audition Guidelines + Info on the website.
