The International Museum of Art wants to invite you to Maxxwrld: Soul and Music, an afternoon of live music celebrating Black History Month with the El Paso Black Arts Association Inc. Join us for this free concert on Sunday, February 15 and to view the EPBAA’s amazing gallery!
The show will begin at 3 pm in the EPBAA’s gallery. Guests will be treated to performances by Maxxwrld, Texas Hart and Lara Linette. Seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
In celebration of Black History Month, this showcase will be a celebration and exploration of their member’s creativity. The mission of the EPBAA Inc. is to encourage, celebrate, showcase and support African American artists that have answered the call to create in the El Paso region. Works in the gallery will be for sale in an auction, where 10% of the proceeds of art purchases will go to the EPBAA Inc. to assist their mission of giving back to the community through greater service and progress. The El Paso Black Arts Association Inc’s Annual gallery will be on view through February 21.
The International Museum of Art is dedicated to making art accessible to all, offering free admission, exhibitions of local artists, and a rich collection of regional and international artifacts. Thanks to the generous support of our members and donors, we continue to foster cultural understanding and promote the visual arts in El Paso.
