The Austin Terrace Ghost Tour isn’t just a walk—it’s an immersive evening designed to ground you in beauty before we explore the unknown.
Part I (7:00pm-7:30pm): Sunset, Spells, and City Lights The evening begins at the crest of the neighborhood in a lush, green park offering a panoramic view of the El Paso skyline and mountains. As the sky turns an eerie purple and gold, you’ll be treated to:
A Charming Sunset Picnic: Enjoy an enchanting picnic setting with some sweet treats & beverages as the sky turns to gold.
The Spell Bottle Workshop: Before the sun dips below the horizon, our resident guides will lead you through the creation of a custom protection spell bottle. Using dried herbs, minerals, local flowers, and handwritten intentions, you’ll craft a personal talisman to carry with you as we enter the “Spirit Hour.”
Part II (7:30pm-9:00pm): The Historic Ghost Walk Once the city lights begin to twinkle below, we leave the safety of the park and descend into the winding, tree-lined streets of Austin Terrace. This neighborhood, known for its eclectic 1920s architecture and “Castle” homes, holds a century of secrets.
During the walk, you will:
Visit the wrought-iron gates of homes where residents report the scent of phantom perfume and the sound of jazz music echoing from empty ballrooms.
Hear the chilling legends of the spirits of the heights and the hidden tales of the builders who shaped these hills.
Discover the glamorous & unexpected past of the St Anthony’s Seminary… Learn stories of the ghostly apparitions lurking within Radford School, & Loretto Academy… Hear the haunting history of an old neighborhood sanatorium… Marvel at the magnificent homes lining these legendary streets… See breathtaking views of our city… and so much more

Saturday, April 4th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, $25 per person; Ticket price includes: A haunting picnic setting in Haddox Family Park with treats & beverage, a custom spell bottle, and a ghost walk through historic Austin Terrace with Weird Texas author Heather Shade.
Please meet us at Haddox Family Park (2700 Radford St, El Paso TX) at 7:00pm. Event starts PROMPTLY so DON’T BE LATE!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN OUTDOOR WALKING TOUR that includes food & drink. -We recommend that you wear comfortable, seasonal clothing and walking shoes. -Some may also wish to bring flashlights, as we do enter into darkened areas. -You are welcome to bring your camera. Not only can you get great pictures of city views and historic locations, you might just capture a ghost on film.
