True West follows two estranged brothers, Austin and Lee, who reconnect. The play explores themes such as sibling rivalry, the American West, and the line between civilization and anarchy. The play is set in California, about 20 miles outside of Los Angeles, at their mother’s home. The brothers are collaborating on a screenplay, and Lee convinces Austin’s producer that he is the right man for the project!
