Owl Mine Exploration Guided Hike

What an adventure we have in store for you! The Owl Mine Hike in El Paso is a moderate, roughly 2.6 mile, adventure offering unique, historic mining remnants within the Franklin Mountains. Starting at Franklin Hills Park/Westside, this trail features scenic arroyos and rewarding, rustic views of the city. Bring ten essentials, water, snacks, shade and grippy or hiking shoes for the rugged on and off-trail experience. Meet at Franklin Hills Park by 7am and hike will start at 7:15am promptly. Please allow yourself time to arrive and get situated Teen and park pass holders $0, Teens $0 all others $5 park permit fee. What you need 2 liters water each person. Grippy shoes or hiking shoes, light for mine exploration, (we will have some extra in case you do not have one). Snacks, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (we will also have some in the event you don’t). We will be exploring inside the cave so if your interested be ready for a little dust. This hike is going to be a adventure to remember.
