Our Native American guide, (Navajo), will be your guide for this very fun tour. At 2:00pm, your group meets in front of the historic 1937 Courthouse and checks in inside the Courthouse. After check-in, we load everyone onto the wagon to start your fun tour! The 20-passenger covered wagon is pulled by our truck. You get to sit on covered straw bales for this unique history tour! We make our way down Mesquite Street, in the heart of the Mesquite historical district. Your guide will point out the historical buildings along the route, speak about the old Camino Real Trail, and talk to you about the meanings of the beautiful art murals hand-painted on some of the old buildings and historic homes along the route. We will return to the Courthouse along side streets and disembark back at the old Courthouse. Bathrooms available at courthouse before & after tour. Complementary bottled water will be served on board the wagon. When: Oct.16th, Friday, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm Meetup: At the Historic 1937 Courthouse & Jail, 251 West Amador, Las Cruces. Age group pricing: Children: 6-14 years old: $15.00 plus tax. Adults: 15-up: $29.00 plus tax.
