Mark your calendars for a vibrant celebration of creativity just in time for the holidays! On November 23-24, Las Artistas will host its annual Art and Fine Crafts Show, bringing together more than 100 local and regional artists to showcase and sell their extraordinary work.
Join us from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, Nov. 23 and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Epic Events Center, 2201 E. Mills Ave. Admission is $10.
As usual, you will be able to explore an ample range of media, from paintings and sculptures to jewelry and ceramics. Whether you are seeking to adorn your living space, or yourself, you are bound to find something for you. No two pieces are the same, telling a unique story and reflecting the artist’s vision. Visitors can find artwork in a wide variety of price points and tastes. And speaking of buying art, do not let the holidays sneak up on you one more year! For more than 50 years, Las Artistas has been dedicated to fostering local talent, and this event is a perfect opportunity to meet new artists. Through partnerships, students from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and El Paso Community College (EPCC) are able to display and sell their art. More than a fundraising activity, it enables these young artists to practice the art of pricing and developing a cohesive line of work.
This year, patrons can expect to find students in the UTEP Metalsmithing department along with the EPCC Printmaking department.
