■ Centro De Salud Familiar La Fe (La Fe) will celebrate its 29th Annual Father’s Day 5K Community-Health Run and Walk on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
■ Event runners and walkers will follow a set 3.1-mile racecourse throughout the historic Segundo Barrio neighborhood. Participants should meet at the La Fe Culture and Technology Center (CTC), located at 721 S. Ochoa (Rear Building), EPTX 79901. The race starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. This 5K event is open to runners and walkers of all ages. The first 200 registered participants will receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
■ Visit www.raceadventuresunlimited.com to register now. Early registration is $25 per person. Late registration is $30 on June 19th and June 20th, the event day.
■ INDIVIDUAL DISCOUNTS of 20% are available for teams of 5 or more individuals. A 20% discount also applies to active-duty military personnel; military veterans; law-enforcement officers; first responders; and students. Current Photo ID must be presented at packet pick-up.
■ Walk-in registration is available at the La Fe Administration Office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at 1314 E. Yandell Dr., EPTX 79902. Checks should be made payable to “Centro De Salud Familiar La Fe” and must be postmarked by June 17, 2026.
■ La Fe CEO Salvador Balcorta MSSW said the race got its start thanks to a group of La Fe employees and community activists who wanted to honor their fathers, single mothers, and male role models. “On the anniversary of this event — as families are being torn apart by our nation’s failed immigration system — it is more important than ever to honor the role that our fathers play in our community,” Balcorta said.
■ All proceeds from this event benefit the La Fe Culture and Technology Center’s cultural arts, education, and community-empowerment programming.
