Julieta Venegas was born and raised in Tijuana, Baja California. She began her musical training studying classical piano since she was eight years old. Daughter of Mexican parents whose occupation was photography, Julieta Venegas was the only one of five brothers who turned to music, so in addition to piano lessons , she also began taking classes in theory, singing and cello both at La Escuela de Música del Noroeste. In 2015 she returns to the music scene with a new album to be released in August of 2015 and a concert tour that will travel throughout the American and European region. The first single from the new album is “Ese Camino” a topic that Julieta Venegas offers us a unique experience, a message about an era and a journey we have all lived and which we can never forget .
