Rey de la Luna, by El Paso filmmaker and playwright Diego Muñoz Holguin, returns to the Jewel Box Series after its debut in the series and a sold-out Los Angeles run. Set during the 1969 moon landing, the play follows young Rey Mendoza as he faces a choice between the neighborhood gang and his dream of becoming an astronaut. Visitors can expect a story of family, loyalty, loss and an impossible dream, presented in the intimate Philanthropy Theatre by Diego Muñoz Holguin/Lost Cable Productions.
