It’s that time of season again! Sit by a crackling campfire and listen while your professional storyteller weaves haunting tales of the ghosts of the historic 1937 Courthouse and Jail, as well as the hauntings in the downtown area!
We will meet you in the historic courtroom for introductions, watch a short video on the hauntings at the Courthouse, while enjoying complementary wine, hot chocolate and hors d’oeuvres. Our guides will then lead you by candlelight down the dark staircase into the old jail to tour the spooky jail cells. Once we make our way through the old jail area, we will come out into the prison yard, done up as a very creepy graveyard! Gather around the dancing campfire, get cozy in your camp chair, and our storyteller will tell you about the hauntings of the historic 1937 courthouse and jail, as well as the Las Cruces area.
This spooky campfire storytelling takes place in a very unique place, in the very haunted prison yard of the former county jail in downtown Las Cruces! (Camp chairs provided!) We will see you for this spooky event!
This event sells out, cutoff for ticket purchase is 48 hours before event date, get your tickets asap.
When: Oct. 2nd, Friday & Oct. 10th, Saturday. 7:00pm-9:30pm Where: 251 West Amador, Las Cruces, NM Ticket cost: $39.00 per person, (plus tax/fees) Age: 21 and older (Please note, the old jail and courthouse are not handicap accessible) No pets allowed. Tickets are on-line only, no ticket sales at the door, limited seating!
