Join us Wednesday, September 10 for our Cultivating Your Home Speaker Series with Michael Eason, conservation botanist and Vice President of Conservation & Collections at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.

Michael will explore the region’s incredible plant diversity—spotlighting key habitats, the species that thrive there, and select plant families with standout examples. As a devoted voice for native plants, he’s built partnerships across Texas and beyond, launched new conservation projects, and strengthened the Garden’s commitment to plant conservation.

This presentation is part of a series of talks and workshops associated with our current exhibit “Cultivating Your Home: Embracing Chihuahuan Desert Diversity.” This lecture series looks at the natural history of the Chihuahuan Desert and how native plant gardens reflect, support, and preserve its ecological story.

📍 Centennial Museum & Chihuahuan Desert Gardens (UTEP) 🚗 Parking: Our lot is currently unavailable—please use side streets or the Sun Bowl Parking Garage.
