Food City and El Paso Firewood have joined forces to create the Flames & Flavor Demo, a live cooking event in the Food City Ranchland parking lot Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The demo will showcase premium kiln-dried White Oak and from Chihuahua, Mexico, known for its clean burn, long-lasting heat, and ability to enhance the natural flavors of grilled and smoked foods. Guests can watch steaks, vegetables, kabobs, smoked meats, and wood-fired pizzas be prepared. They may also enjoy free samples of each dish throughout the event.

In addition to live cooking demonstrations and free tastings, guests will have the chance to: - Learn cooking techniques for grilling, smoking, and wood-fired ovens. - Purchase White Oak firewood directly from El Paso Firewood, with exclusive discounts available for customers who present a Food City receipt. - Receive a special online discount code for future firewood orders.
