Let’s start the New Year’s resolutions off on the right hiking foot!
Join us to work up a sweat and burn some calories while taking in the splendors of the Franklin Mountains State Park. We will be hiking along a scenic trail up to Mundy’s Gap - a moderate/difficult hike.
Fee: $5 park entrance fee 13 years old and up; free for Texas State Park Pass holders and Children 12 and under.
Meet at Tom Mays Unit – West Cottonwood Springs trailhead.
Length: 4 miles round trip
Difficulty level: Moderate - Difficult.
Bring: Water, snacks, sturdy hiking shoes/boots; optional: hiking stick, camera, binoculars, a map.
