The International Museum of Art is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the El Paso Black Arts Association Inc.’s second annual gallery and silent auction this February.

In celebration of Black History Month, this showcase will be a celebration and exploration of their member’s creativity. The mission of the EPBAA Inc. is to encourage, celebrate, showcase and support African American artists that have answered the call to create in the El Paso region. Works in the gallery will be for sale in an auction, where 10% of the proceeds of art purchases will go to the EPBAA Inc. to assist their mission of giving back to the community through greater service and progress.

This exciting new gallery will be on view from February 1 through February 21. All are welcome at the Grand Opening Reception on Sunday, February 1 from 1:00- 4:00 pm. The EPBAA Inc. encourages guest to wear all black to the Opening Reception.

The International Museum of Art is dedicated to making art accessible to all, offering free admission, exhibitions of local artists, and a rich collection of regional and international artifacts. Thanks to the generous support of our members and donors, we continue to foster cultural understanding and promote the visual arts in El Paso.
