Brace yourself for an unforgettable music experience with twenty-five incredible acts, bands, and performers! Kicking off the series on May 15th, Mariachi Los Arrieros and their stunning Folklorico dancers, set the stage for an incredible journey. Opening the show is Lowbrow Palace Battle of the Bands winner, Texas Hart. Joshua Lucero and the Midnight Vibe will deliver the crooner sounds of the 50’s and 60’s with Big Band Night May 22nd. Kicking off the evening is Gabrielle Torres on the Patio Stage. On May 29th, Fire and Ice delivers a rocking tribute performance to Pat Benatar with Stellar opening the festivities at 6:00 pm. The following Thursday, June 5th, Cool Canyon Nights is proud to present Red Light Cameras, a very popular party band from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Local favorite, The Ray Arreola Trio rocks the canyon starting at 6:00 pm.

On June 12th, McKelligon Canyon lights up with Que Creias Selena Tribute with opening act, Sultanes del Yonke, an up-and-coming artist featuring alternative cumbia music. Thursday, June 19th get ready for an evening of Jazz in the Canyon featuring Kikimora at 7:00 pm followed by Billy Townes on the West Star Main stage just after 8:00 pm - The Mark Fowler Group opens the show on the El Paso Community College Career, Technical, and Education Stage at 6:00pm.
Sonora Skandalo is our feature act on June 26th – a regional powerhouse of cumbia music, showmanship, and high energy. Opening the show is Guerro Larrea, a well-known singer from Mexico whose powerful voice will delight early Cool Canyon Night visitors.

On Thursday July 3rd, McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre will rock to the music of Prime Rocks. This 80’s & 90’s show will rock the West Star Main Stage with the new sounds of Stoney Blue Fish, from Las Cruces, opening the show.

The Latin Night Dance Party takes off July 10th with Jezzika Sax, who will be performing her new hit single; Baila Conmigo plus a slew of Latin dance hits all night long. Celebrated musician, Electric Dave, opens the evening with his electric cello at 6:00 pm.

Country Western Night, July 17th, features recording artist, Phil Hamilton, with his Phil Hamilton Band. Originally from Ft. Worth, now living in Ruidoso, NM Phil Hamilton headlines Country Western Night with local favorites The Damian Isacc Band kicking off the evening on the EPCC Career and Technical Education Stage at 6:00 pm.
Frontera Bugalu headlines July 24th with a massive mix of Spanish, Latin, and Cumbia music guaranteed to bring the crowd to dance, sing, and party in the canyon. Opening the show is the highly popular, Saving Bandit, another up-and-coming band in the borderland.

Closing out Cool Canyon Nights is El Paso’s official “Party Band” – Fungi Mungle. From the best of disco to the biggest hits of pop and rock, Fungi Mungle will fill the canyon. Advice: get there early! Opening the show is The Retroz, an annual favorite who performs great sounding hits from yesterday to today
