Cemetery picnics were once a common way for families and communities to gather in scenic burial grounds, blending remembrance with leisure- JOIN US in reviving this bygone tradition, where meals are held at burial sites honor & celebrate the deceased.

Your ghostly adventure will begin by gathering for an afternoon tea party service- including beverages & delicious treats! We invite you to don your best tea party outfits, to sip in style amongst the spirits…

Then, our guests will be guided on a twilight tour through this historic cemetery, led by Weird Texas author Heather Shade, as we introduce them to the eternal residents that lie within its walls.

Come hear tales of Concordia history, Southwestern folklore, paranormal experiences, and cemetery superstitions, on a tour like no other.

Saturday, November 15th, 3:00-5:00 PM, $35 per person. Your ticket includes tea service & teatime treats (variety of lovely locally-sourced cookies, fruit, & more), PLUS tour. Please meet us at the BUFFALO SOLDIER GATE located on Stevens St for check-in at 2:30 PM.

We recommend that you wear comfortable, seasonal clothing and walking shoes. You are welcome to bring your camera. Not only can you get great pictures of haunted & historic locations, you might just capture a ghost on film!
