Discover the fun of cake decorating with a trained baker and designer by your side!

You’ll leave class with experience in piping and designing with buttercream, just like the pros do!

We will be focusing on basketweave icing application, buttercream roses, buttercream ivy, and letter piping.

You’ll receive a box to take your cake home to show off and share!

Make it a decorate and sip! Sun City Sawdust is a BYOB friendly location, bring your favorite drinks and food to enjoy during your class.

This location is also family-friendly. If you are bringing a child to take part, note that a max of 2 people may sit in for one ticket (1 adult + 1 child - or 2 children). Please note on your ticket if you need an additional chair at your ticketed spot.

Register early! Guaranteed seat tickets are on sale through April 22. Any extra spots will be available up until class time. Walk -ins are NOT guaranteed a spot.

Class Description:

We will be decorating a single layer 6 inch cake in class. Note that the cake and icing may contain gluten, chocolate, eggs, and almond extract - for those who may have allergies. I will bring a variety of chocolate and vanilla cake layers which will be first come - first served.

You will be provided with all the tools and materials needed.

Follow along step-by-step with the instructor or create your own designs!

You’ll leave class with a bakery box for your cake.

We will meet at the family friendly Sun City Sawdust location in West El Paso .

Convenience:

Each class is taught step by step by a trained instructor and baker. All questions will be answered during the class. Melissa has 16 years of professional experience baking professionally and 12 years of experience teaching creative classes.

Clothing:

Please wear appropriate clothing that can get messy. There is a possibility that your clothing or personal items may be stained if materials get on them.

Cancelation Policy:

If you have to cancel, please let me know via email or phone at least 24 hours in advance of class time to receive a refund. If you have to cancel less than 24 hours before class, contact me directly for instructions. If you are a no-show to class, you will not receive a refund or credit.
