BUON NATALE! An Italian holiday wine tasting

In Italy, the holiday season is long and full of meaningful celebrations in which Italian wines play a critical role. So as they begin a month of festivities, inviting family and friends into their homes to enjoy traditions that date back thousands of years, we invite you to savor a taste of the Italian holiday season with us at Zin Valle Vineyards!

Come discover the most notable Italian wines from Piedmont, Tuscany, Veneto and Campania. We’ll pair them with Italian charcuterie and glimpses of experiences you might have if visiting Italy this magical time of year.

The tasting will be led by certified wine expert and wine educator Lilia Alvarez Nevarez. Victor Poulos, Italian wine expert and owner of Fattoria Svetoni, will also be present to discuss the wines.

YOU’LL TASTE: 5 generous pours of Italian wines from four different regions. We’ll start with a sparkling wine from Tuscany, followed by a Soave from Veneto, a Fiano from Campania, a Barolo from Piedmont and a Brunello from Tuscany.

Italian charcuterie will be provided by Chef Erick Ponce of Longhorn Food & Beverage.

MORE ABOUT WHO’S LEADING THE TASTING: Victor Poulos is the founder of Zin Valle Vineyards and owner of the Tuscan winery and wine resort Fattoria Svetoni. His expertise in Italian wine is unsurpassed.

Lilia Alvarez Nevarez is a WSET 2 certified wine expert, wine educator and co-founder of the El Paso based wine brand consultancy A Land Beyond. She’s been Zin Valle Vineyards’ brand builder and ambassador for many years and has worked intimately with their Tuscan winery Fattoria Svetoni during that time as well.
