The Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation presents the 2026 Bags 2 School Backpack Drive! While El Paso students are off on summer vacation, we are hard at work in preparing to help them “B” prepared for the first day of school in the fall with a new backpack, but we need our community’s help to meet the growing need for backpacks. Starting in June and through August, we are accepting donations of new, 17 inch backpacks for distribution to schools, counseling centers, shelters, and other organizations serving borderland youth needing assistance in back-to-school supply shopping.
The Foundation office, located in the Shops at Placita Santa Fe, will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 11am-5pm to accept backpack donations.
