Star on the Mountain Theatrical Productions has been invited back to perform in the Jewel Box Series for the 2025-2026 Show Season. We will be producing “The Continuum Tales” by Jason Pizzarello and “7 More Deadly Short” by Mark Watts & Stephanie Karr. Please submit your virtual auditions via the link in this event– we are looking for one comedic and one dramatic monologue, no longer than one minute each. Show Synopsis: The Continuum Tales by Jason Pizzarello A couple discovers a mysterious, potentially cursed book titled The Continuum Tales, which contains narratives exploring uncanny, futuristic, and disquieting worlds remarkably similar to our own. This genre-bending and engaging collection of humorous and peculiar short plays depicts technological mishaps, psychological terrors, and the consequences of succumbing to one’s fears. 7 More Deadly Shorts- by Stephanie Karr & Mark Watts A new collaboration from Stephanie Karr and Mark Watts, who previously authored and produced 7 Deadly Shorts, continues its comedic exploration of how the seven deadly sins may manifest in everyday life. Seven humorous and engaging short scenes illustrate the sins, each distinct from the last.
