Let’s burn all those extra calories from Thanksgiving dinner! Join us for our annual Turkey Trot, this hike will be to Mundy’s Gap. This is a 4 mile, moderately difficult hike. We’ll begin with a gradual incline over scree, or rubble, proving to be challenging for some; then transition to a steady climb over loose rubble/rocks. Once you make it to the gap you are rewarded with sweeping views of the East side.
Bring: water, snacks (left-overs?), hiking boots/shoes, and comfortable clothes. Optional: binoculars, hiking stick, camera, and a map.
