Cinderella’s story would have been very different if it weren’t for the mice and the dog, and the cat and the horses! Told from the animals’ point of view, the Cinderella story takes on a different perspective in ‘The Magic Shoes.’

Like humans, animals all have their eccentricities. Sally is a romantic. Dandelion just likes to eat cheese, but when both of them are told that the prince needs to get married, they take matters into their own hands. After all, mice all know humans aren’t in control of their own lives! So with the help of the castle mice, the prince and King ‘s horse, plus a cat and dog and a pair of magic shoes, the real story of how Cindy and the prince get their happily-ever-after is revealed. Using, of course, a great deal of help along the way from the audience!
