The Solar Car Challenge is the top project-based STEM Initiative helping motivate students in Science, Engineering, and Alternative Energy. We teach high school students how to plan, design, engineer, build, and drive roadworthy solar cars.
At the end of each 15-month education cycle, we host a driving opportunity for the solar car teams. This year’s “race” is an 8-day drive from Fort Worth, Texas to Palmdale, California. We will be doing a major solar car display at the Harmony Science Academy in El Paso from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 19th.
