World-class musicians Layale Chaker, violinist, and Hannah Nicholas, violist, will visit the UTEP campus and El Paso Holocaust Museum for workshops, masterclasses, a community talk/performance. Join them for a concert with UTEP’s Middle Eastern music ensemble, Layale Al-Sham on February 3rd 2018. In addition to the concert, Layale and Hannah will also speak about their journey in overcoming both figurative and literal borders to perform together around the globe.
El Paso Holocaust Museum galleries will remain open for self-guided tours preceding the concert.
