Kalimba, The Spirit of Earth Wind and Fire is considered by some as being the best Tribute to Earth Wind and Fire in the country. Based out of the Pacific Northwest, Kalimba’s has been together since 2011 spawning from the dream of Lead Vocalist, Thomas “Chazz” Smith, started Kalimba with the vision of playing the music that he listened to growing up, Earth Wind and Fire. Since 2011, Kalimba has evolved to a 10 piece group with full horn section, performing the hits including but not limited to, Shining Star, That’s the Way of the World, Devotion, Sing a Song, Can’t Hide Love, Getaway, Fantasy, Love’s Holiday, September, Boogie Wonderland”, After the Love Has Gone and Let’s Groove just to name a few. Kalimba performs nationally across the country at Casino’s, State Fair’s as well as at the some of the country’s most prestigious Jazz Clubs.
