This two-day dance therapy workshop will include the basis of flamenco, Latin (salsa, bachata, tango), and contemporary dance techniques to inspire the free expression and joy of dancing.
The purpose is to provide basic elements of different dance styles and learn different ways to make it your own, from dance techniques to body mechanics. This is not a classical training workshop, but rather learning to incorporate different styles together and using your body’s strengths and weaknesses to create a style all your own. All levels of dancers, from beginners to advanced, and all ages are welcome.
The works hop will be from 3:00-5:00pm each day.
