Directions: From I-10 West, take exit 162 (Anthony/Chaparral) NM 404. Drive east 4.2 miles. Drive 2/10 mile to a flat parking area on the left

Enjoy a moderate 4-5 hour, 5 miles hike at the north end of the Franklin Mountains. Bring 2-3 liters of water, snacks and sturdy hiking boots. This hike is dog friendly if your dog has been trained and socialized. Bring doggie bags and water.
