El Paso Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Bohuslav Rattay, opens its season with guest pianist Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Yekwon Sunwoon. Selections include Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, op. 18, and Symphony No. 2 in E minor, op. 27. Opening notes are presented at 6:30 p.m. each night in the Philanthropy Theatre next to the Plaza.
