The Retreat Birth and Maternity Services Center has obtained a screening license to show the highly anticipated documentary “Why Not Home: The Surprising Birth Choices of Doctors and Nurses” for the aforementioned dates and times. Why Not Home discusses how and why hospital staff members have chosen to birth their babies in their own homes versus in a hospital to avoid the common interventions that often lead to unnecessary cesarean sections.
