Curator Dr. Laura Augusta will go around the gallery space and talk about the work on display and answer any questions the audience may have about the exhibition Tiempo Libre.
Tiempo Libre surveys Honduran artist Adán Vallecillo’s prolific career in his first solo presentation at a U.S. museum. Vallecillo’s projects bring together visual traditions of Western Modernism with its ecological implications for communities in Central and South America and the Caribbean, in an often searingly-funny call and response. This event is free and open to the public.
