Hear about the local history and geology of Mount Cristo Rey. The 5-miles, 2 to 3 hours hike is easy to moderate and suitable for all ages. Randy Limbird, editor and publisher of El Paso Scene will be your leader. Cost: $3 ($2 for children) donation requested for the Mt. Cristo Restoration Committee. No reservation is required. Meet at the large parking lot at the trailhead to Mt. Cristo Rey off McNutt Road (NM 273). Take the Racetrack exit off Paisano and cross the Rio Grande.
