The International Museum of Art in conjunction with Sunset Film Society presents a tribute to Gene Wilder, who passed away on August 29, 2016 at the age of 83. We present to you, one of his many memorable films. He plays the “Waco Kid” in Mel Brooks’ zany Western full of deliberate anachronisms. Many memorable set pieces exist…two of which are the arrival of the Sheriff (Cleavon Little) on horseback to Rock Ridge and the campfire scene. Nominated for three Academy Awards.
