El Paso Pro-Musica and the El Paso Museum of History, together celebrate a Special Week of the Cello. “Bach to Rostropovich,” honors Bach, the incredible “Gifts and Prayers: The Romanovs and their Subjects,” exhibit, and Mstislav Rostropovich, the Russian Cellist considered one of the finest in the 20th century. Zuill Bailey and Graduate Cellists from his UTEP Studio will perform all Six Bach Suites. Enjoy a Champagne Toast, Appetizers and The Cello! The event is also in anticipation of the arrival of Cellist Lynn Harrell, performing for El Paso Pro-Musica on February 1 at 7:30 p.m. at UTEP’s Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall.
