Hike the beginning of a New Deal Civilian Conservation Corps project. Start from the end of Stanton Street. It will be an out and back hike of about 4 miles and 4 hours. From I-10 take Executive Center Exit, turn right onto Mesa, take a left at the light onto Brentwood, at the stop sign turn left onto Stanton Street and follow it clear to the end. There is a $2 FMSP fee or use your TX Parks Pass. Bring 2-3 liters of water, snacks and sturdy hiking boots. This hike is dog friendly if your dog has been trained and socialized. Bring doggie bags and water.
