Business owners from across the region are invited to invest a day on their administrative professionals. Now in its 17th year, The Southwest Administrative Professionals conference brings office staff together from across all industries for a full day of recognition, inspiration and networking with like-minded individuals.
Organizer and executive coach Aliana Apodaca said she developed this conference to show administrative professionals how valuable they are to a business and to help business owners recognize staff efforts.
Every year speakers in various industries cover a variety of topics. The same program is offered each day to allow businesses to send all their staff. A bonus at the session is a mini massage.
This year’s confirmed speakers are: best-selling author Cynthia James who will talk about revealing your extraordinary essence; motivational psychologist Dr. Mel Campbell that will talk about emotional intelligence in the workplace; Toribio “Toby” Natividad, MD will share the prescription for becoming an office athlete and Aliana herself will lead a session on having tough conversations.
