The speaker will be John Sproul from the Rio Bosque Wetlands Park.

Hands-on activity - Wetland Metaphors: Participants will be able to describe the characteristics of wetlands and evaluate the importance of wetlands to wildlife and humans by being presented with a selection of objects to investigate as metaphors for the natural functions of wetlands.

All are welcome, but this event is well suited for Texas Master Naturalists, environmental educators, volunteers, and engaged citizens who are passionate about our water resources.

Through participation in the full series, participants can earn a Texas Waters Specialist designation from Texas Parks & Wildlife.
