The film is based on events in Tombstone, Arizona, including the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and outlaws and lawmen such as Wyatt Earp, William Brocius, Johnny Ringo, and Doc Holliday. Wyatt Earp (Russell) attempts to leave his violent days behind moving to Tombstone with his two brothers, but the violent gang know as “The Cowboys”, whose members include the Clintons, dictates otherwise. Narrated by Robert Mitchum. Directed by George P. Cosmatos.
