Immigration enforcement agent Smith (Jack Nicholson) lives in California with his wife (Valerie Perrine) in a trailer. She persuades him to move to a duplex in El Paso shared by her friend and border agent Cat (Harvey Keitel). The film began shooting in 1980 in El Paso, but was delayed several months because of a writer’s strike. Hosted by life long film fan, historian, archivist, writer and collector Jay Duncan. When it comes to the magic of the motion picture, Jay enthusiastically shares his wealth of knowledge, personal exhibits of his own movie memorabilia and in-depth behind-the-scenes knowledge with each and every screening. Yes, there is an actual movie theater inside the museum! No outside food or drinks please. Snacks & drinks will be available for purchase for nominal charge.
