Los Portales Museum is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibition, Studio 118: Juried Exhibition, which features the artwork of the San Elizario High School Art Department. Over 60 students will be showcasing their talented work. Studio 118 is on view from January 21st – April 15, 2023. This exhibit is a community effort to showcase student art to the community and visitors at large. Studio 118: Juried Exhibition aims to educate the public about San Elizario’s vibrant and ever-evolving art scene. “Encouraging the younger generations to pursue their dreams and having a place to do so is part of our mission.” Museum Director Oscar Navarro comments. Los Portales Museum will be hosting an opening reception on January 21, 2023, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. We invite the community and all art lovers to support the students at the opening. Refreshments will be served.
